steel guitars and the smell of rain on pavement.

I guess the monsoon of june is back for an encore in july.  Don’t mind it, except the bike gets a little wet.  Anyway, fits perfectly with my afternoon project.

After having my eyes opened to the likes of Mississippi Fred McDowell, Bukka White, Bishop Perry Tillis, Kid Prince Moore, and Blind Willie McTell on this drizzly, caffeine-induced afernoon, I find I’m all kinds of trapped in this happy high of steel guitars, fuzzy recordings, and deep vibratos.

I know this is a bit unfulfilling as is, but expect some good blues music [something a little more tangible] to come.
